Alan Wake's American Nightmare
Article of the Month (September)
Bright Falls is the main town of the first Alan Wake game. It is said to reside within Washington state and is resident to a few thousand residents. Every year, between September 15th and September 18th, the town celebrates Deerfest; it is a yearly celebration where the townsfolk gather every year for the hunting season.
Whilst the town was originally used just for mining settlements, in the 19th century, a man named Hubert Biltmore came to the settlement and turned it into a real town, building a saloon and a post office and naming it Bright Falls. A statue can be found in the Bright Falls park of all the main founders of the town.
The town used to be the home of a small volcano right underneath Cauldron Lake. Due to unknown causes, the volcano erupted, and there were only a few casualties.
