Added by KranitokoReturn is a manuscript that Alan began writing at the end of the DLC episode, The Writer. It is known as the sequel to Departure
The manuscript follows the story of the game "Alan Wake's American Nightmare", a stand-alone title to the Alan Wake franchise, where Alan is trapped in a Night Springs episode and has to try and find a way to defeat the antagonist, Mr. Scratch.
In American Nightmare, the player can pick up 53 pages of the manuscript.
