Fight 'Till Dawn is a game mode featured in Alan Wake's American Nightmare.
Fight 'till dawn features an arcade style format in which you begin with a 9mm pistol and flashlight. You essentially have to fight numerous Taken until dawn arrives. Weapons are scattered throughout the maps although some are locked in chests and require a certain amount of manuscript pages to open.

|1||Cemetery||0 out of 30||Graveyards are supposed to be nice and peaceful spots, but this one is anything but. Watch your back, or you just might get to enjoy a little eternal rest of your own.||12 out of 30|
|2||Ghost Town||1 out of 30||This place was abandoned decades ago, but it's pretty crowded in these old streets tonight... and these visitors wouldn't mind making you one of the ghosts.||15 out of 30|
|3||Oil Field||3 out of 30||The earth may be full of black gold, but the shadowy figures that stalk you here aren't interested in that. Petroleum means nothing to them. What they want is blood.||18 out of 30|
|4||Caves||6 out of 30||The caves are unsettling, littered with the remains of ships that couldn't possibly have ended this far inland. This is strange country, riddled with mystery and death.||21 out of 30|
|5||Trailer Park||9 out of 30||Perhaps this place was once fit for people to live in, but now the only occupants of these dilapidated remains are shadows and the horrors they hide.||24 out of 30|
On the Oil field map a good weapon combination is the combat shotgun and revolver, these require manuscript pages to unlock however once they are in your hands they make surviving a lot easier. The combat shotgun is located to the far back of the map from where you spawn whilst the revolver is at the top on a car bonnet. This is a good combination as the revolver kills weak enemies in one shot whilst the combat shotgun deals a great amount of damage to the stronger enemies, remember to collect as many flares, flare guns and flashbangs as you can find though as these get you out of difficult situations more than once.
Another thing to consider is that when dawn is approaching within the last 30 seconds or less it is advisable to use all of your weapons you can muster to gain as many extra points as you can, flares and flare guns are especially handy for this as a flare gun shot can easily take out some of the larger enemies with ease.
When a grenadier is attacking you with grenades try to avoid staying close to the grenade as it has a large blast area, the best thing to do is kill him first as this will help loads when trying to avoid being hit. In fact, it is often advisable to leave one grenadier alive so you can explore the map and collect additional items such as flares, flashbangs, flare gun ammo and restock your primary and secondary weapons before killing him and triggering the next wave.
The hunting rifle is probably one of the best weapons you will find in the game, as it will kill most enemies in one shot, save for the giants. This is a great advantage to have for obvious reasons and can get you out of tight situations with ease.
Its advisable to have found all the manuscript pages from the campaign in advance to playing fight 'till dawn as this gives you the many weapon advantages on maps that you will desperately need when attempting to get the achievements located within arcade mode.
