The Bright Falls book store occurs during a small sequence of the game, where Alan Wake and Sheriff Sarah Breaker have to go through the store to reach Barry Wheeler.
Alex Casey Sale[]
The book store, at the time Alan Wake was in town, was trying to praise Alan by making the final Alex Casey book, The Sudden Stop, the Book of the Month. Not only that, but they also had a sale on the books, which can be found in the book store as part as the local history. On the note on the right wall, it says:
"Alex Casey Books by Alan Wake, modern master of crime fiction!
Alex Casey, What I Can't Forget, Return to Sender, The Things That I Want, The Fall of Casey and The Sudden Stop.
All in stock! $20/book, $100 for the full set!

Alan in the bookstore with Clay
- In the early development stages of Alan Wake, there was a screenshot which had both Alan and Clay Steward in the same room, meaning this could have possibly meant some kind of confrontation. For reasons unknown, this part of the game was removed and the book store itself was a lot smaller than shown.
- It is next to Doctor Nelson's house.
